The magazine is named after the slaps and kisses it takes to create a sexual image.
It is widely available in the US and UK, with more than 20 million copies sold worldwide.
It was launched in 1987 and is often described as the bible of the sexual revolution.
The magazine’s aim is to create “a world where men and women can feel loved and accepted for who they are and not be judged by their appearance or sexual orientation”.’
A new world’ In the US, the magazine has also been known for its provocative cover featuring a smiling woman kissing a male model.
“In many ways, we’re taking a step back,” said one editor, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
“It’s a new world, and it’s all about embracing diversity and acceptance.
That’s a big part of what we do, and we think we’re on the cusp of a new chapter in history.
It’s been a very good run, and I think we’ll be back for a long time to come.”
