The Irish newspaper The Irish Sun has reported that a new sexual health initiative is being launched this week that will allow men and women to seek sexual health treatment.
The initiative will launch on the first of March.
It will be a new program under the new health system, with an aim of ensuring men and people who are sexually active are provided with comprehensive sexual health services.
It is the first time that such a new service has been rolled out in the country.
Its aim is to offer a range of services for both men and the gay community.
It also comes as more than 50 Irish universities, including Dublin, are planning to take part in a joint campaign to prevent sexual violence and abuse.
Last week, a study by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (Nice) revealed that Ireland has the highest rates of HIV in Europe.
